Hi people, i have a adsense account in which my Gmail ID is been used... i wanted to ask that can i open my gmail ID in my uncles place to check mail... Coz my uncle from abroad sends mail in gmail..so i have to go to my uncles place to open the mail ..for them to read it...so plz tell me will my adsense account be safe ??? coz i opened gmail account in another computer .
I think your fine... unless your uncle has had problems with adsense before... in that case i have no idea.
GMAIL and ADSENSE are different thou from same "Google" Open your gmail from any nook or corner of the world, you will be as safe as a new born baby
As long as you make sure that its on https, everything should be fine. Having said that, I assume that your uncle's computer is free from keyloggers, worms, adware, spyware, viruses, trojans... [I'm worsening your paranoia, ain't I?]
yup..u can open u email any where even if the PC that you are using also running the adsense account.
yes you can , two different teams deal with gmail and adsense , so they are not going to share details of each and every adsense user
The only problem is if your uncle was clicking your ads (very bad practise, and maybe against TOS), if you accidentally log to your google account and acces to your adsense to check your earnings at your uncles place. Then you can have problems. I use gmail and log to adsense from 3 different computers without problems, as I am the only one who touches them, and have the adsense displaying locked for my sites, so if someone else sits in front of them, the cant click my ads. You have to protect yourself, I only want others, coming from natural traffic sources(mainly search results) , to see my ads. For me only to test placement, for family and friends my sites do not exist to avoid friendly clicking. Be legal and careful, then you will not have problems
