I hope this is the right thread!

what would you do if suddenly you can't access your gmail account and you don't have secondary email address to request for new password?

I work hard for it!heres the catch, blogger and google is 1.
If you have a blog on blogger the username for it, is your gmail account.

If you lost your gmail account same thing will happen to your blogger account!

what if your blogger site has a PR 6 then just because of the lost of my gmail account I don't have access!

    do you get now?

    Hi Ron,

I have seen the limited recuperation options on Gmail, but when you mentioned your blog, I had a trial on the blogspot recuperation page, and received the following answer online.

"Le hemos enviado instrucciones a la dirección de correo electrónico secundaria que nos facilitó al registrarse.

Si no dispone de una dirección de correo electrónico secundaria o ya no dispone de acceso a ella, utilice de nuevo el vínculo "¿Ha olvidado su contraseña?" dentro de cinco días. A partir de este punto, podrá restablecer su contraseña respondiendo a la pregunta de seguridad que facilitó al crear su cuenta."

Sorry if you don't understand, I am working from Spain and got the Spanish version. I'll translate the meaning.

    They say:
We sent the information to your secondary mail account. - Well you don't have one; I know but ...

... "if you don't have a secondary mail account try the same recuperation procedure here again in 5 days you will be able then to recover your password by answering the security question."

    Hope that helps. :)

it would be interesting to understand why you lost access to your gmail, if it's because someone hacked your account and changed it or if it is because you've used your account for things contrary to gmail terms of service such as spamming for getting traffic to your blog. Depending on the reason, it might be more difficult to reopen it.
