With some keywords my website has very google position on the google.com while on the same keywords it got low position in the google.ie, can any one feel this before me that you have good position in the global search while you got lower position in your own country's search engine where you hosted your website.
    what can be its reason?
does google give you global position insteade to local country?
does google want to place you globally?
does google hate the ranking in hosted country?
lets search the answers of these all question one by one I hope all of you are gr8 in the seo related knowledge so please start discussion.

You need backlinks from local sites and also what's language of your site , local language will rank better.

if you have keywords or content which talks about the country or city's happenings.. it will be considered more and as zangief have already said that having the language option will also be treated as a positive sign for ur website's ranking on SE.

google.com is not the global site....it is the american google search engine and if most of your links are from american sites that are hosted in the us then your site will show higher..

To rank locally you will need local links and a country specific domain
