Hahahahahahah. Read the news, no wait a minute don't read the news, its all bollocks. Yeah the earth was warming at a (fairly) alarming rate, however that has changed drastically and the last few years have been some of the coldest on record so its all crap. But what about the link between CO2 and global temperatures, well as CO2 level increases tend to lag behind temperature increases by about 800 years I doubt we are causing the earth to warm by trapping CO2. The science actually suggests that a rise in CO2 is actually caused by a raise in temperature not the other way round like some politicians will have you believe. There is no scientist general consensus that global warming is caused by CO2, in fact there is quite the opposite. Not all people who claim global warming isn't related to CO2 are paid off by the oil companies as that stupid bitch that promotes Al Gore's biased video will claim. Get informed, look at the facts, I have just scratched the surface here. Nobody can be blamed for believing global warming is happening or that it is caused by CO2 levels but you can be blamed for being ignorant in the face of the facts. Jim P.S Lots of ice caps have actually increased in size, year on year. Don't let people comparing different season sizes of ice caps fool you into thinking they have constantly been shrinking for years now and they do melt in summer and re-freeze in winter.
Seventy something of the earth is water and the rest is land. Global warming, or the increase in the overall temperature of the earth will cause the ice caps at the north and south pole to melt, which increase the water level in the sea, and eventually submerge all the land and humans will be screwed not having a place to stand and deny global warming. Sounds real enough? I say yes.
Of course global warming exists its a climate change. Human activities cause it that's why there is greenhouse effect, spread of the diseases like malaria, more hurricanes, polar ice caps melting , economic effect.
Yes global warming is increasing gradually but people think this is a modern thing,over 100,000s of years this has happened we have been through ice ages many times and the temperature has increased again and the cycle started again but the differance then we had no cars or the other bandwagon excuses that we use today.I fully understand that we do emit pollution and we always have !!! But alot of mammal like woolly mammoths and many other animal became exstinct because of the global warming 10000 years ago then we did not have campaigners shouting about global warming then.
It`s a definitely real things this globat warming. And if we don`t wake up in time, we won`t have a place to live anymore.
There will be difficulty in knowing for sure when there are two conflicting sides. My view is that it just makes sense to look after our home anyway. Better not to take the risk and assume that its bulls**t.
There is no denying it is real, it's never usually that dry during the winter where I'm from. We used to get good rainfall once a week for a while, now it's like once a month. Plus all the scientific documentaries.
