I use kontera's listing on our dxrules.com website and from 1/1 to now, made $41. averaging ridiculously low click counts and earnings. Considering it takes $100 for a min payment, think by December I "might" see a check from these folks. Dunno... I see their technology used on other sites but never click on it myself, don't think others do either...
I'm doing ok with Kontera. Made $140 in my first month with them. CTR is just under 1% and averaging $0.05 per click. Not great but doesn't seem to be hurting my other revenue sources. I'm noticing fewer impressions this month. Depends a lot on content of the pages and many of mine are a little sparse. Also seems like they don't have enough advertisers so sometimes there are no Intext ads at all on pages that I think should pick up some good ads. I'm hoping that improves in the future.
That's surprising to me.. I just started using Kontera 2 months ago, and earned $1,500 last month. It's done great on my site, 2nd only to Adsense. How is that Blockbuster banner doing for you? (Azoogle, right?)
Has Kontera detracted from your overall hits? I personally don't like pages with the in content ads and am wondering if other people have seen negative traffic results from using it
For me it's been all positive.. has not reduced my adsense CTR that i can see. I got ONE complaint from one of my members about the 'annoying popup thingys', so i decided to only show the Kontera links to anonymous visitors only. How much it annoys your visitors depends on your niche and the type of visitors you get.
yeah, who knows.. still trying to figure kontera out and all the blockbuster banner along with the other site listed in my signature have been very positive. only 5 leads but 260 paid for the month, so cannot complain
I threw Kontera's ads on a forum that didn't do much with Adsense and I am receiving a good CTR and a decent pay per click. I am spreading it to all of my sites and expect revenue similar to Tearabite which will be the only thing that ever came close to Adsense. My sites are business and technology related so they generally get good payouts. Your portfolio of sites may not be aligned with companies with big dollar advertising budgets.
