whether this is the best category to post this or not, it is because one of my sites, http://www.businessblogs.org ranks for Business Blogs
and I really don´t know right now what those people might be looking for.

How do you guys determine what people are looking for when they type in certain keyterms?

I would think they're searching for blogs about successful business's or business practices. A lot of keywords are obvious but some are not. "How do you determine what people are looking for when they type in a certain keyterm" is a good question. I try to think as if I'm searching for "business blogs" what do I expect the results to be about. Blogs about succesful business's is what I expect.

Different people think differently, you yourself can not decide what actually they are looking for when they search for "business blogs". However you can get an approximation by asking yourself "what do i want wen i look for that search term?".
