I have a designer building a site for me and he needs access to my databases. I currently host with Godaddy. How can I give him the access he needs without comprising all the other info in my Godaddy account (billing info, other hosting accounts, domains, etc.)? Thanks
Im not sure about godaddy but with other companies you can make separate accounts that only have access to what you chose.
You can give them their own ftp access by clicking on the FTP manager in Cpanel. They will have access to the folders that you designate but none of the other files on the server. Tim
