I'm thinking of giving blood to blood.co.uk.

What do I have to do? I'm seriosully thinking donnating 55% of my paycheck next month to charity too.

Obay, I recently became unemployed. instead of giving your paycheck to a charity where you have no idea if it will be used to make someone's life better or if some head of the company will use it to go on vacation, how about giving it to me where I can prove that I'll use it to pay my light bill and car payment?

Obay, I wouldn't donate money to some organization that could actually take your money and use to their benefit. During the Luisiana floods FEMA stole millions of tax dollars and relief money from millions if not billions of people. And the most affected residents, like families and the elderly were still living in trailers and sleeping in their cars.

Even if you're there to see what's going on you could still get robbed. But if you're really out to help people I would listen to some of the people here, people like professional toast and a few others. I even offer jobs from time to time.

Obay, I support your plan to donate 55% of your paycheck to charity.
But IMO, you have to choose carefully where you will donate your money.
Please don't donate to people here in DP because they are just lazy men.
They have money. They can pay the internet. They don't deserve your donate. They are just lazy people.
You should find people who can't buy food, for example.

    God bless you, Obay.

I donate every 2 months with the Red Cross and you feel great after you do it knowing you helped out someone who needed a blood transfusion or some other need of blood.

I can't give blood. They don't want it. I got told no and got a list of reasons why, i'd rather not reveal them here, it's nothing bad, just a bit personal going into medical things like that.

Don't give money away, spend it and live like a king so the poor have something to aim for!

I would never give blood for personal reasons.

Well - mainly because I hate needles :)

It's a very noble thing to do to give back to the society. However, choose your channels and options wisely so that you will know that you give to the most deserving.

Donating blood is an excellent thing to do.... I used to be a regular donor and somewhere along the line, I got out of the habit of doing it. :(
