    Hi Guys,

I'm wondering what your thoughts are on what I should do with my inactive blogrush.com account. I have a few ideas, but would like your input and any other innovative ideas. Basically our blog was excluded from the network due to it not having enough information in it. And, in the foreseeable future, I do not see our company having a suitable blog for the network which is a shame considering our project here...

    ...is largely geared up to promote blog rush. Our account currently has;

(These are estimates from memory, as I last logged in several weeks ago and can no longer see the stats)

Approximately 120 odd direct network referrals on the first level (probably plenty more by now).

Generates ~14k impressions per week. 300 directly from the excluded blog, the rest as a result of the referral network.

The blog rush network was sending around 200 unique visitors per week to our blog (when it was active) as a result of the above network impressions and numbers. So that's some pretty nice no cost traffic. In order to reactive the account, we simply need to submit a new suitable blog. This is why I thought perhaps we could pass the account on to someone with a suitable blog who can use the account instead of all of this juice going to waste. Here are the ideas so far...

    1) Give the account away in a promotion.

Obviously I am not just going to give it away, but I thought perhaps it could be used as a reward.

This could be to the person who refers the most downloads to...

...which is free so could create a nice new influx of active affiliates and software users in general).

Alternatively, it could go to the person who refers the most members to our...

...network. This might be more suited to actually encourage affiliates to become more active and would generate more immediate revenue (as opposed to simply leads via the previous option).

The above could run for the course of one calendar month.

    2) Sell the account.

    We could sell it outright.

Either at a fixed rate, or as an auction where the highest bidder walks away with it.

    3) Use it as a bonus.

We could use it as a bonus I suppose, for a product / service we recommend, where the first customer referred walks away with it as a bonus for taking fast action. Not really sure about this one.

Any other creative ideas? What would you do with this account?

Right now it's simply going to waste, and all it needs is someone with a suitable blog (that would be approved by the network) to walk right in and take advantage of it.

    Look forward to your suggestions.

    Best...

I thought you were giving something away? A misleading title.
