Hi folks! I have an interesting offer for any of you forum owners who might be reading this. I own an automated posting exchange site and I need to boost the number of forums available for content writers. The site is still fairly young and hasn't grown a large enough supply of forums to meet the demand coming from the large number of writers who have joined the system. So I'm willing to give out 10 free forum posts on your forum if you take the time to submit your site to The Forum Wheel. It's a completely free process. The system automatically awards you 10 free startup credits so you won't have to worry about purchasing anything. My primary objective is to make my writers happy by increasing the list of forums to write for. Let me know if you're interested. You can comment here or send me a PM. Either way is fine. Just send me the link to your site and I'll get started on the posts as soon as possible. Regards, Ken NOTE: This isn't really an auction so just ignore the buying/bidding option. We just added our signature forum, but why there db, host username and pwd code in php file that we have to upload in our server?
The file is what keeps track of user posts counts on your site and send that information back to TFW. That's what allows it to be automated post exchange system. Writers subscribe on TFW and then get paid for each post they make. Every couple minutes our site sends a request to that file asking for an update on the post counts for the users who have subscribed. If user X's post count on your site has changed from 5 to 7 then they'll get paid for two posts. The only information that our site receives from that file are the post counts of our writers who post there. The MySQL information is used in that file to connect to the database (otherwise we can't keep track of post counts). It's completely secure. It's no different than the dozens of other PHP files on your server that work together with the database. If you want, I can go over each line of code in the file and describe its purpose. Also, anyone with a knowledge of PHP can easily verify that it is indeed secure.
It operates via a credit system. Different writers are paid different amounts based on their ratings/reputation/etc. but on average it's around 1.5 credits per post. The more credits that are purchased at once, the better deal you get. So for example 300 credits costs $25 and 300 credits will get you around 200 posts ($0.10 - $0.12 per post). 1,000 credits will get you 750-800 posts and will cost $75 ($0.08 - $0.10 per post). As soon as you submit your site you get 10 free credits though. So you can give the system a quick test run before investing anything. Plus, free content is always nice. You also get the 10 free posts from myself as well.
Haven't really thought about adding support for Drupal. That's a good suggestion though. I'll look into it tomorrow.
That will be great. A Drupal 7 module would suffice until the next 3-4 years I guess, and a Drupal project page will expose your site to more potential users.
Offer is still available for any forum owners who could use some extra content on their site. Here are some examples of my posting work on @cm2010 's forum... http://forums.bhanvad.com/threads/53/ http://forums.bhanvad.com/threads/2/#post-63 http://forums.bhanvad.com/threads/56/ http://forums.bhanvad.com/threads/59/
Offer is still valid. If you'd like 10 free high quality posts for your forum then submit your site to our system and I'll get started right away.
The forum wheel is great to get post/thread, but can't get members as many members are in "theforumwheel" if you can fix this issue than it would be helpful for forums owner and the forum wheel.
Well we try to encourage as many of our writers as possible but not all of them are active. It's freelance work on their part so they aren't obligated to subscribe to a forum if they aren't interested in it. Over time as your site stays listed, it will accumulate members. Currently SEO Forums seems to have been deactivated.
There's no technical minimum but posts made by myself on your site will be 4+ lines of content. You won't have to worry about posts being too short.
Already registered my forum on http://theforumwheel.com/ Tomorrow will buy 1000 credits, can't wait your "4+ lines of content" too
Can I have a link to your forum? Several sites have signed up on The Forum Wheel today so I'm 100% not sure which one is yours.
My forum is http://www.ypayz.com/ Right now I'm going to the bank and load some money, once I get back I'll buy 1000 credits and see overall quality you guys provide.
Cool, I'll go ahead an get started with the 10 free posts. Is there a particular frequency that'd like for the posts? Spread it out over the course of a week? Three days? etc.
