Giving AUTHOR role to a user inside WordPress

    I want some of my friends to be able to post on my Wordpress blog. How can i do this?

    Dashboard -> Users
    Tick the checkbox of every user you want to change.
    Select "Author" from the drop down box and click the Change button next to it.
