    Hey guys,

I got a forum up and running for the last 6 months! Reached 12,000 posts now and to give more back to the community I installed adsense revenue share at 100% for the members !

Members that fill in their pub-id and make new threads will get their ads served 100% of the time.

What do you guys think of this :)

That means I don't get more in revenue :p I get nothing :p

The members that create posts will get the adsens money (if they ad their pub-id)

You can see how to do that in here !!!

    Question on that.

I assume you are using the same addon that DP is using where when looking at your own thread you can't get your own ads. Does this mean that when a member looks at their own thread you get it?

If that is the case, it may look odd when the same people keep looking at the same pages over and over and over according to your own ID.

Can malicious click fraud be a problem with shared revenue?

This is right !! Members cannot click on their own ads !

If they check their own threads and click on it, it will go the my pub id ! But this is something rare!

every visitor that comes to your thread and click the ads, creator will get it !

25-50 of all thread views are from the thread creator, that is assuming the thread was started for discussion, and is actively being posted in by the OP.

On a popular thread this can put hundreds of views from a single source on a single page. While that happens on any thread, when there are no other sources it does seem to stand out.

not saying it's against the ToS of google or anything, just saying it'll look a bit odd.

I found that running a contest works better. I give away $20 or a prize a week to the best comment or post in your case. You could up that amount to $100 and still be ahead I believe. It encourages better content on your site and when you pay out that user is a lifelong advocate of your site especially after they get a nice fat paypal deposit from you. That way you don't need to worry about link bait in your forums (which will happen). By your numbers its a 1 in 452 chance of winning. Add more prizes or money and the odds of a payout increase. Besides you want reward the best commenter and posters on your forum right? Which reminds me today is Friday, someone wins today.

Well this is normal for adsense revenue sharing program..nothing new...

Of course, when someone click on member's pub, it is 100%..

    care to explain further?

You mean members will get 100% instead of let say 50% to admin and 50% to members? I am referring to percentage of ad appearance.
