Give user custom FTP permissions?

Hi,

I need to give someone regular access to our server but they only need to be able to access one folder. Is there some sort of way I could let them access this specific folder only and be allowed only to upload files and not to delete them?

I thought a web based ftp client would have some sort of solution along those lines but I'm not really sure what to search in Google, and suggestions?

what ftp server you use.. what OS are you using.. (linux, windows) etc etc

The thing though is.. I've never been in the situation where you give someone upload ability but not to delete. What if they made a mistake and needs to reupload? or update whatever they upload?

 

if you are looking for simple method . use file zilla . you can give custom permission to folder . depends on users
