Give Suggestion about cannonical issue

    GIve me a suggestion about cannonical issue and give me some information about it....and whts cannonical issue?

    It's when you have a page with more than one url.
    Most cms do this - for example, your home page could be www.thisisyourownhomepage.com and www.thisisyourownhomepage.com/html
    This makes problems because both versions get linked to, both internally and externally.
    To resolve this you need to redirect all variations to one url and/or use the canonical tag to indicate which is the preferred version.

    EDIT - oh for heavens sake - yet again I'm explaining seo basics to someone advertising an seo service in their sig. What is wrong with you people? Do you have no shame at all? *tears out hair*

    There's hardly much that can be done. I feel DP must get a bit more strict with signatures.
    The good thing is that the maximum signature link limit has been reduced to two from four. :)
