Give me your thoughts on my petition site

I kind of threw this site up real quick, but it was all done by scratch, the backend & design.

But what about the idea? For now, I made it purposely as a petition to get the old google layout back. But when thats done, Im thinking of making it a free service for any member to make a petition.

    So what are your thoughts?

    The site is damnitpetitions.com

Thanks! Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Maybe add an image of old Google layout that you're talking about.

Well..............since I'm big on aesthetics, this will be an HONEST response:
First, the site is very 'flat'. It needs some more 'oomph'. The first page has too many words on it, if you want to get the word out to your audience, it needs to pop out at them (i.e. play around with fonts, sizes, etc) and keep it short, but to the point.
The last tab (social media, sharing, etc) should be implemented throughout all of the pages.
Maybe the new signatures could be like new content (i.e. like a new blog post to keep up with content for search engines)

I'd recommend possibly using Wordpress.org or Drupal as your content management system. With WP, you can implement plugins to help get your word out.

    Good Luck! :)

you can change your colors. current colors are not very good.
