Seriously - give me feedback http://dannysdailys.blogspot.com/ and how can i drive traffic to my blog? especially when it's just 'general interest' like this?
The first thing I noticed is it takes forever to load and it froze my computer when I clicked it. If that happens to everyone visitors won't stay. It has a lot of updated content which is really good. For SEO work on: Back Links Social bookmarking Link Exchanges Pinging Submitting to search engines good luck!
Your site is good to display public adsense ads because it not well focussed. It is a small a to z news blog. I wonder who want to visit your a to z news blog because they are so many reputable ones.
Load speed is awful. Get backinks as many as you can then make sure the content is always updated. Ross
You've got too many things going on there. Too much clutter. What is the purpose of your site? If it's to make money with Adsense, you don't have keywords and description metatags on your site to help adsense identify which ads to display on your pages. You should also do the whole SEO way of generating traffic to your site. If the purpose of your site is more of a social blog, you should consider posting your own thoughts and views of things, otherwise, the existing content can be read in other websites. People have no real reason to visit your site if you're not offering anything different. Also, you should have a more personalized header graphics which will help people remember your site. There are so many generic sites on the web, you have to make yours stand out from the rest.
One thing I noticed, other than the load time, is there is WAY to much going on. You should have your post be the most prominent thing on the page and then everything else secondary!
Start a video blog on youtube, dailymotion, metacafe, break,,,, or some other video site. Post videos with commentary that is related to your sites content. Then take the videos and embed them into your blog. Be sure to optimize your videos, such as a watermark, or opening and ending credits with your website name and put a link to your site in the video description. Youtube is my forums #2 source of targeted traffic with only an 18% bounce rate. When done properly, video blogging can send a steady stream of targeted traffic to your site.
if your posts are unique, it may be able to rank for some keywords in SERP and it should bring in some traffic from Google...
