I want to know what is the basic difference between Site and blog, except the fact that site has static content while blog has dynamic content. Well i mean to say is .....if i want to develope a site for adsense i will make a site, put the content and forget abt it....just optmiize it.Wherein if i have blog...i need to keep adding content every time oftenly. Is that the only reason that people opt for site and not blogs? Also if they keep adding new content regulary to site what purpose does it serve to have site, apart from the only fact that they can have control over it. So is not frr blogger blogs better if u want to add content every time?????? I m confused....

I have a website for the static content and a link in it towards my blog. I update my site monthly while my blog every 2-3 days. They work good hand in hand for me. My blog is with blogspot.com so gets top displays in google searches. ;)

What do you mean by blog? Free blog at blogger or blo in general? Because the difference is in the software. You use blogger or wordpress on your own domain and you use ready to use software. Your site could be pretty dynamic too, but I guess it is for big companies with big money or coders with time :D.

For best results, you really need to update your content as often as possible, regardless of whether your site is comprised of static HTML pages or runs on a blogging platform. Hope this helps.

It doesn't matter you have blog or site. you have to update content so that crawler keeps coming to your site.

Good advices. I will remember that. I was trying not to change the static content of my HTML site in order to not confuse the crawlers! LOL
