give ideas for very fast marketing

    I would like to hear about the different ideas of very fast marketing

    something like press release or digg, shoutwire or fark...

    Coming up with an original idea/product and using a good PR person who knows exactly what they're doing to send out press releases and act on your behalf when the calls and e-mails come in.

    There are big bucks to be made this way but it's just coming up with the quirky or original idea that would grab the attention of the mainstream.

    I don't think marketing comes much faster or easier then this... Once you have that idea/product.

    I know lots of people say Traffic Exchanges don't work anymore, but if you come up with a catchy landing page that grabs attention, you can still get some good traffic our of them.

    Content, Content, Content. Have good relevant content that people want to read.... Then submit the articles via press release sites to start getting word out.

    The fastest response I get is from sending out a press release or pushing a targeted article. Every time I send out a targeted article (suited exactly for the market audience of my product) I see a spike in sales.

    Let me see if my knowledge corrects me right.

    You need content and lots of it. You need links and lots of it. You need good keywords and dont need lots of that just the right ones. And you might need one more thing. I have to check my files again.

    Content and web design of a site offering a promising product may be superb, but people should get to know about it somehow. So that's what marketing is all about. I think press releases and viral marketing should be thought of for a start.

    Like everyone else is saying. Content. If you try and do a press release and don't have something people want it could do long term damage. Try sending something in to your local tv station. They love plugging in little local news and you might get a free 15 seconds of fame.

    If you have something good not necessarily unique , then the fastest is word of mouth . Spreads like fire in jungle .
    TV and News is a way to let more mouths spread the fire .

    Depends on your market, but in many cases bloggers are the best way to get the word out fast today. If one well-read blogger picks up your story it can quickly spread to other blogs in related markets. Lots of journalists are reading blogs too so there is a chance you could get some mass media if your story is good enough.
