Girly myspace resource site - Revenue and taffic!

Maybe site sells should splint into two sub-forums, "turnkey" and "established" sites. Would certainly make life easier fro people looking to buy serious established sites.

 

The reason I left junkpoint is that it became scammer's heaven, and the worst part of it is that it is caused by the mods and jerks they have as admins in that place. Best thing about digitalpoint is that if you try to scam people you will have everyone else jump on you like a pack of wolves and you are on your own.

I hate scammers and spammers and will always point them out.

 

No, that would be imitating sitepoint, and they proved to have had many complaints for that, especially over the definition of turnkey.


A permanent ban for anyone caught spamming and/or locking his signature and avatar to something showing he's a scammer is just fair.

 

Frankly I don't care what SP does. The definition of turnkey is pretty clear and pretty sure everyone knows what an established site means.

 

I think we should just point out scammers the way it was done in this thread, they will eventually leave.

Neither am I. Kinda another reason I stopped helping. Shawn doesn't have anything against me or even know me for that matter, but I've made comments that some of the staff might find un-leaderlike.

Getting an infraction for trying to help someone was the last straw.

Personally I hope Greg won't sell you a license. You need to learn a hard lesson sonny.

 

Please don't change his mind on selling me one. If you didn't know, this all starting by me betting ripped due to someone selling me the script cheaper, turns out it was an illegal copy. I just want to close the sale and legally buy the script from the man himself now. I know I messed up, I did not know I was wrong.

 

In the end it is Greg's choice, and he is a good bloke, so you might be lucky. I'm not going to try and talk him in or out of selling you a copy, but I really hope you have learned a very important lesson early in life (took me many more years to learn this lesson).

No he gave me 12 hours to put it down until I get a lisence. He did not shut me down manually because I did it staight away.

 

I know a friend who just owed greg $400 for using an unliscensed xopy of this script.

 

The difference here was that your friend was trying to openly sell copies on another forum and this individual was using a stolen copy.

While both actions are wrong, it is hard to hold them in the same light. I am a fair and forgiving person, and what I choose to do on a case by case basis will vary with the indiscretion. I will not, however, try to blackmail or extort anyone. That's just bad form.

I'm pretty sure he knows who I am though... I was arguably the most vocal about disagreeing with the retroactive negative rep decision and it definitely caught his ear. He was a good sport about it though, but I'm not sure it showed me in the best light. I donated to the server though, so that has to count for something right

I'm sure that it won't work 100%, but it should help in a large way.

And hey, if the sellers post in the wrong forum -- that's an easy way to spot them as scammers.
