It is a crime, and those who committed it must be punished, I appreciate Turkish newspapers, and media, who talked about it, this is how you been able to know about it, and possibly use it as a hateful agenda against Islam and Muslims, but truly, they in Turkey, had nothing to hide, neither Islam, it was clear, in regards of such incidents.

If a crime happened in a Muslim country, you see Western media rushing to transfer it to their readers after adding their touches of course, and without mentioning how they been able to know about it, and without even mentioning sometimes that Islam prohibits such practices, to imply falsely that Islam encourages it, and this is to serve the agenda, these networks have, and also, since they know that their audience, love that satisfaction they get when they hear about other parts of the world, it gives them that feeling of perfectness where they are, despite they have much more crimes levels than the country in the news.

I may swallow that women there have to pay the dowry to men, not the contrary, but what I can't understand is why they burn them alive if they couldn't afford to pay much?

if you are honest, then you would have addressed these too, unless if you never heard about them, then I may excuse you, but not your media, so now that you knew about them, will you address them in your next post, there been 61 women in India, who been burned alive since the beginning of this month, and one woman in Turkey who been buried alive, each one of these, deserve to be addressed, but I only read about that crime in Turkey, because Turkey is a Muslim country,

are Muslim women so important, while Indian women are worthless? Of course not, every life is so important, but your acts speak else.

I m not telling you not to post about such crimes when they happen, in the contrary, please do, any act, or word being said, to attract attention to such crimes is needed, but it also needs some honesty to be effective, and not wrapped with a hateful agenda, consider please, that these women in India, wished so much, if you gave them 1% of the attention a Muslim women gets when she gets abused, or murdered,

the 7 Indian women who will get burned alive tomorrow because they can't afford a good dowry, will appreciate it so much, if you also talked about the injustice that happens to them, try, who knows, maybe they, or some of them, will stay alive for after tomorrow.

I feel that you do not care about women, or victims, you wish if they all get buried alive, or burned alive, but you find in this a way to practice your hatred against Islam and Muslims, and spread your rotten agenda, of killing, and war mongering.

What about Sati practice Brahman? ever heard about it, I am sure you did, you are a Hindu if I am not wrong, and its been a part of the Hindu teaching, where the wife gets buried alive with her dead husband if he died before her, I know there been some new laws that stopped such practice, but sadly, its still happening, more sad, you do not talk about it, do the newspapers there speak about it? everytime it happens, to expose the criminals, and show that they are serious in fighting it? as the people in Turkey do when a crime like the topic of the thread happens?

 

Yeah, I'm aware of the fact that Quran is not the best source for women rights. It was a book of ancient arabic society. And it has so many misconstruable verses and historical and chronological mistakes in it. But what I was trying to tell is even it doesn't exalt the women, it is not suggesting these buryings, killings, stonning to deaths either.

Sharia is a religious based punishment rule system which is really pre-historic and actually it has nothing to do with Quran and it is really disturbing to see most of the islamic countries still using this as law, constitution or as punishment. Those whippings, beheadings, throwing stones to death etc are not in Quran they are in Sharia. (By the way my country has left Sharia approximately hundred years ago when Ataturk brought Republic and Laicism/Secularism.)

I wish people could leave governing countries and living their lives by religious rules while there are modern laws. Current modern laws and morality of humanity are adequate enough to create a happy, organized and ethical society but it is really hard to see this from the eyes of a person who was raised with fear of god's punishment, believing whatever is written on a book or even believing an elder's words and lack of querying those.

I hope not only muslims also all other members of religions living by such an ignorance could civilize and act as humans.

EDIT: If what imad says is correct about some Indian traditions, we should stop blaming religions and talking biased about countries (I mean what does this has to do with Turkey's EU membership? When that Austrian incest, pervert dad's news was on media did anybody talk about Austrian culture or their membership?) and other countries and organizations should force these countries to stop these stuff. Yeah I want a global pressure on my government to stop these stuff, to do more to educate people in easter region. And that global pressure should be used by humanity everywhere in the world to stop such cruelties.

Quran-24:2 “The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication—flog each of them with hundred stripes: Let no compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by God, if ye believe in God and the last day.”
