    Hello,

This is my first site i have made to try and monetize. The site is Gig-Guru.com. It is a site to help bands find gigs and find other member for their band. Competition is kind of tough because they have actual classified scripts, not a forum, however I feel that a forum is quick and easier.

I have a myspace acount www.myspace.com/gigguru and attempted to gather as many band friends as I could. I gathered 40 friends in about 2 days my manually slecting them. But ive got less than 20 profile views, which proves that even though im their friend they didnt bother to view my site.

I dont have enough friends to post a bulletin, but plan to in the future.

So really my question is, how should i go about getting people to my forum? Do you think it has the possibility to bring in money or should I quit now and find a different niche?

    Regards,

    Fill Antonson

Try to find a different niche, because I dont think this is going to be too popular, a band recruitment center doesnt sound too trustworthy of a monetizer, because having a dream to form a band is usually just temporary and I dont think many people would like to have strangers in their band, the little kids that do all the banding are mostly with their neigbourer kids and/or their siblings. So yeah this isnt a great niche, you can see if it works out though, for a month or so, if it doesnt, dump it
