Hai, I have read somewhere that google will give out gifts on occasions like Christmas for adsense publishers. This is for those publishers who is making out more money from Adsense. As they earn more, they are also helping out Google to earn. So, anyone has any idea that how much should a publisher earn per month to receive gifts? Nothing can be better than receiving gifts from them...lol
I think they give you $5 in credit, or 15% of your earnings in that month - something along those lines.
I have no idea if there is a set amount that has to be earned... or if it is in recognition of improvement/increased earnings over time, or what. We were getting about $3,000-$4,000 per month when we got the digital photo frame last Christmas. We didn't expect we would get anything, and it was a real surprise! A great one! Not just the gift, but that Google considered us worthy of one. We still keep it, and its Google box, on prominent display.
Iamzak- At Christmas time Google sends out gifts to some of its Adsense and Adwords people. Most people probably don't get anything as they don't earn or spend enough. Have a search though- there's probably other threads on here about it, and on other webmaster forums, or just generally mentioned in people's blogs etc. We definitely got one last year... it wasn't a figment of our imagination.
this looks a nice thing. I never heard that good gives out gifts to its publishers. Now this really encourages me to write more unique content to reach in that gift category.
I get a gift from Adsense every month.. deposited directly into my bank account.. no picture-frame for me at Christmas though
The $3,000-$4,000 per month was on a previous site that we no longer have access to, as it was owned by someone else (even tho we did all the work ) who decided he wanted to put Adsense on himself, when he realised it could bring so much money. Ah well. We're not making quite that much yet on our own site yet, which was only started in Feb. Only about $1,200-$1,500 per month so far. Yes, I'll see if we can get a photo of it- and its famous box and post it. Stay tuned...
Ok- here is the famous Google gift, complete with its box. Plus a close-up inset so that you can see the Google logo on the digital picture frame. That is my husband holding it. I didn't dare put myself, in case Nintendo decided to put his head on my body, for one of his famous photos!
So has anyone heard about different x-mas gifts from Google for adsense publishers earning $xx,xxx per month or more? I'm just wondering at what point does Google send you a picture frame or the next gift item more than that?
From what I have read, there is only one gift that Google choose to give out each year, what a publisher or advertiser has to achieve to be on the mailing list for one is unknown. It's not a simple metric, that is, it's not necessarily how much an advertiser spends, or how much a publishers earns, it could be a combination of things, or none of the above. It's Googles choice and their decision or formula to get on the list quite possible changes from year to year.
JimKarvo, Google sends Christmas gifts to various Adsense and Adwords clients. The majority of people do not get one- just those they choose by whatever criteria they use.
Well, last Christmas was the digital photo frame, with Google on it. (as above) Other years have been different- a mini bar fridge one year I believe, a set of little gadgets like USB thumbdrive. Last year was the only year we got anything though.
