.gif animations

    Hey guys,

I know how to make gif's easily enough, but I want to implement a part of the video into it.

There's a 5 min youtube video where I want to loop 3 seconds. I need it to look like a real video.

Any ideas on how to do this?

Also, the gif wont be the whole banner. The banner will be 300x250, and the animated bit I want to be like 100x100.

    Thanks!

If you want to get the images from the video use a video editor like live movie maker in windows and take the images from there, for 5 minutes is a lot of work

Camtasia Studio allows you to turn most video files into GIF images.

You can use Adobe After Effects to add visual effects on that video and export to .gif format.
