Before: After: Bonus Picture: God (Jesus according to Christians) is asking God for something? Where is the logic in that?
Well, anyone that builds a statue outta the equivalent of papermache wrapped around twin 2 story tall lightning rods shouldve anticipated the outcome. Difference between your bearded buddies and other religions... the owners probably just plan to collect insurance instead of murder a bunch of people thousands of miles away that had nothing to do with the fire. That response still has the paper mache icon fellas beat for pure stupidity.
Well if Israel is good for something, you gotta admit he makes you laugh. Admit it, you chuckled too.
That's what's funny (to me). It's such a non story but he thinks it is. Then when you consider, if it was a statue of Mo, they'd tear it down themselves...
Well Churches have been burned and destroyed for millenniums and prolly so have mosques . I don't see the fun in it . I mean I know SP is just trying to propagate his madness or just cover his insecurity . I just find this kind of things mundane - lol maybe I've see to many bad things happening .
Back in the day when God had magical powers that he openly used in front of people (burning bush, parting the red sea, worldwide flood etc) he would have stopped this. But then some asshole invented video and it was like kryptonite to God's powers. Funny how that works. Now that smartphones can record video at 720 and they're everywhere God is powerless.
If it were for aesthetics the lightening knew best for the "Jesus in the pond". The Rio Jesus has stood for decades, the lightening is a Greeting from the Garden.
In response to "Allah strikes Jesus with lightning" we have "Shalom toasts infidel in the Holy Land" *snikers*
LOL you've got two iron rods pointing to the sky, pull out a basic book on physics and put down the Quran.
What can you mean, the domain Hell and its residuals are destroyed by the Creator, man is only exiled into his body from which the Outerworld still exists. Jesus freed himself and is our example to follow - the lightening is a Blessing.
This happened quite a while ago. Maybe a year ago or so. Oddly, I live just 20 minutes down the road. Quite a spectacle.
