I heard the term 'ghostwriter' used today in reference to SEO and content. What exactly is a ghostwriter? I haven't the foggiest idea..
Typically a ghostwriter is someone who writes content that you can use as if it were written by you in exchange for payment. Basically you pay someone to write your content and use it under your name.
yes the newfangled term for that is Outsourcing. you pay someone else to do your posts as if they were you. for instance I paid someone in Phillipines 0.20 to do this post for me. ;-) see this site: tinyurl.com/desowk
Oh.. Ok. I am pretty sure the person who was using this ghostwriter is just a lazy SEO who is outsourcing content. Thank you a lot for your posts!!
why lazy SEO ? though hire copy writer is common and it it don't related to SEO right ? or i miss something here ?
beware of hiring copy writers. Most of those copy writers are morons, they say they only sell to you the content but after awhile you'll find it in another place. Dont trust them, as they called themselves " COPY WRITER "
Ghost writers are writers for hire who take money but none of the credit for the work produced. The original writer, or author, is hiring the ghost as a freelance writer to produce copy writer work for a fee. The author takes all the credit for all the original work produced, including all the original writing produced by the ghost writer. The ghost, who is usually paid in advance of completing the job, gets the money as a "work for hire" job and assumes none of the credit for the ghost writing work. It can be a very lucrative career, once you know how to handle its ins and outs, and once you learn how to deal with your clients as a ghost writer should.
