Hi everyone, For writing article/content pages for your website and for writing articles you can submit to article directories, which freelance website is better : 1. Elance.com 2. Scriptlance.com 3. guru.com I have tried Elance twice and even though I have paid quite a bit for articles, I have not been too happy with the results. Perhaps I am not explaining my requirements well enough or perhaps I should only be choosing USA, UK, Australia or Canadian writers - to increase the odds of better english. My aim at the moment is content rich, well built (I use XSitePro) Adsense sites using The Plan by Charles Heflin ... you know, building SE friendly sites the long way using themes and silos etc. Anyway, if you know of anyone who writes well (I know you probably don't want to reveal any expert writer you have found and that's fine) at reasonable prices, or if you know which of the above three is best, please let me know. I'm getting very tired of throwing money away, and I am also losing faith in private label articles and re-writing those (I have a few memberships), so I would prefer to have brand new content (500 word variety), instead of rewritten material - many subjects - debt consolidation, credit cards, skin care, weight loss, stress and so on. Your comments are appreciated. Have a nice weekend. Thank you.
I've used ifreelance.com a few times. I don't pay top dollar for articles (can't afford it). I usually pay arounnd $50 for an article & can't say I've ever been entirely happy with what I've received. I still use them from time to time, if I don't want to write about a topic, but would like it on my site. They do the groundwork & then I edit what they've written. For most of my content I just write it myself, but am happy to freelance it out once in a while, even if I'm not 100% satisfied. I guess part of it is that they can't read my mind, but also they don't know what angle I'm coming from.
Try checking the copywriting area here on DP or the content section under services to post what you need. There's also www.getafreelancer.com. I pick up projects there once in a while, but I've never hired anyone from there, so I don't know about the freelancers' quality. Jenn
I use GAF for all kinds of things successfully EXCEPT articles. Its too difficult to effectivelty prescreen people and it ends up being a real time waster. I hire my writers from here where I can read there posts and get an idea of their writing skills. Half the time on freelance sites they give you samples that either aren't theirs or someone has proofread them for them.
