Hi everyone. As you've read in the slap thread, my current campaign got a very nice, round bid of $10 for every keyword. But yesterday, when I opened my account to see if any miracles happened, I was surprised to see a click (and 100% CTR). I immediately checked the bids, but they were still $10. Even on the clicked keyword. The CPC was my default maximum CPC, which is much lower than $10. Today I opened my Analytics page, and to my surprise there were no hits from AdWords at all. All visits came from other sources. I know it's less than a dollar, but I don't want to pay on clicks that don't come to my website, especially when I am explicitly told that I won't get any clicks. I even have reasons to suspect it happened more than once. Today, when I woke up, I noticed that there were two more impressions, for a total CTR of 33.33%. What is going on in here? nadavs
If you read the fine print at the bottom of any ad group page in your AdWords account you will see: " Inactive for search keywords have a Quality Score and bid too low to trigger ads on searches for Google or the search network, but they remain active for content impressions. These keywords may occasionally accrue search clicks as we re-assess their quality."
