Yes, I agree... Try this: anything you socially bookmark, include the article in a tweet on Twitter. Anything you write or publish (for example an article in a blog on or off your site), social bookmark it and then write a tweet about it. Works well for general SEO; anyone made the same experiences?

I have been using Delicious, Digg, and StumbleUpon, anyone got any better ideas? I used Mixx, too, but then I saw that it is NoFollow, plus the site is always giving trouble, too. Plus if you work in a specific language, any local social bookmarking sites are useful, too. I had some luck in Spain with http://dir.eccion.es, for example.

To be honest I dont get why people have such troubles, all the sites I have ever made have been indexed within 24hrs.

All I do is make the site make a sitemap, sign up and validate with google/bing and yahoo webmaster tools submit sitemap.

Post on some forums I use asking for reveiws of my site, wich gets me feedback on where I can make improvements and an thats it.

 

Yes indexing is strange thing and seems to be totally at googles discretion. I have had sites indexed within 2 days, with no backlinks at all, and only one page content, and yet a site with depth and a steady flow of backlinks still hasnt been after weeks. There really is no telling which sites google will favor!
