I was jsut wondering if anyone out there had some suggestios for getting forum threads index. My forums www.rsboards.com has around 100,000 posts and whilst it has 10,000 pages indexed in Google I get the impression that Google still isn't getting all of them.

I dont have any forum experience but I would presume its the same as any large website, you need to build a few quality links that link deep inside your site, ie not just to the homepage but deep inside to certain posts/forums.

I can't personally answer your question, but I was thinking even just a sitemap that has a list of all the categories, forums, and sub-forums rather than all the posts... if you know what I mean. Would this make a difference?

Well obviously I'd like to have my pages indexed by all the search engines, but having my threads indexed by Google is the most important to me.
