Getting unsupported Blog Feed to appear in DP forum

Does anyone know how to convince the DP forum code to display the last post from an unsupported feed? My RSS feed is a straight RSS XML feed from my website, i.e. not from a blog. Perhaps this is impossible - does anyone know?

    Cheers, Cryo.

Couldn't you put it through feedburner and then put the feedburner url into DP?

    Try it and report back.

the point is that i have 5 fully validated RSS feeds - 3 or so of them are in Yahoo news as well

there must be a method to use original validated (m)RSS 2.0 feeds
just need to know what is different from the ones accepted in DP or what OTHER than RSS2.0 specs DP requires

Well, I signed up with FeedBurner, and then added the new FeedBurner URL as suggested as my Blog Feed. Doesn't seemed to have worked, and FeedBurner isn't in the list of supported feeds: Blogger, Movable Type, WordPress and MySpace.

    Ho Hum.

    Cryo.

That DP function is not a feed aggregator, it's only a Latest Blog Post feature. Any non-blog feeds are not allowed.

No Amit, it's nothing to do with that at all. It's designed and intended to only accept blogs, anything else is not allowed. It's not meant for advertising, ranking or anything like that, it's just what it says it is, a latest blog feature intended to enhance the community, not a member's website.

As others have said, it's for blogs only, so...
