Is there anyway to get that information from google analytics.? I see that there's a obsolute unique visitors which displays global traffic, but i am only looking for US unique traffic #s. If I narrow down using benchmark, I see United States traffic, but in "Visitors" not "Unique visitors" Thank you.
Go into Custom Reports and create a new report. In the blue box on the left, open up Site Usage and drag Unique Visitors to the first space for Metric on the right. Then in the green box on the left open up Visitors and drag Country/Territory to the Dimension box right under the blue Metric spaces. Click preview to see if it gives you what you want. If it does, give it a name and click Create Report and it will be there under Custom Reports next time you want to see this info.
by default google analytics dont show unique visitors form a specific location, but if you want to track it , you should use custom reports.
yes, goin to custom report & create a report here. This report give you unique vistors from your desire location in aanlytics.
Thanks for this new information. Currently I am checking this traffic from direct country refferal traffic.
Custom reports can track almost anything you want. In this case abcyesn wanted visitors from a specific geographic area, so we used Visitors as a metric and Country/Territory as a dimension. Put whatever you want to track - like visits, pageviews, goals - in the blue metric field. Then put whatever you want to refine the results with in the green dimension fields. You just have to play with it until the report tells you what you want to know. You can preview a report and only save it if it's right.
Custom reports are sick - at first they can be somewhat confusing to use but once you get the hang of them, they are really useful and can make them do almost ANYTHING!
