    Hi

One of the best ways to promote your website is by writing keyword rich articles that you can submit to articles directories. On the Internet almost everyone who has a website, blog or newsletter is looking for fresh content. If your article is of interest, a newsletter publisher, a blog or a website owner may post the article in their newsletters or on their websites. Since your resource box must be included with a link to your website this can increase the number of links pointing to your site and bring you traffic.

    To your success

There are a lot of news sites that post daily favorite links sections. They are a good source of free links and traffic.

If you haven't already figured this out... "Organic traffic" is simply that which you do not pay or advertise for. In my opinion this would be type-in traffic, or search traffic (folks using Google or Yahoo to find something and stumble across your page). Traffic from links you didn't ask for or buy... etc.

If you are talking "Organic search traffic" then that is simply traffic from Google and Yahoo... folks that are searching and stumble across your site.
