Getting traffic to my site

    Hi all !
    I have started a targeted website which I hope people will use to find usefull things from rather than untargeted results for the uk it is called Http://www.thetopdown.com perhaps anyone with a few minutes spare that is feeling kind could give me some pointers on how I could direct traffic to it and what they think of the layout of the site.

    What is "The 'Search' to 'Find' Engine. " supposed to mean. The first page also looks too much like an advertisement.
