How can i Get Traffic To Blog Without Spending Anything ( money ) .

I can spent some time instead of spending money

How are digg / stumbleupon / others beneficial ... I saw both sides looks by orkut/facebook just for making friends ... but how are digg / stumbleupon / others profitable

How to use them (digg / stumbleupon / others)

    Can anyone explain them ...

I use wordpress the latest version . See u can go to my blog by clicking the recent blogs of mine if u want to .

Anyways , Can u tell me all ways so that i can drive huge amount of traffic to my site . There must be many ways that can help a blog getting more and more traffic .

Suppose digg / stumbleupon / others are the source which are the best ones .
Is there any tool that auto submits the latest blog entries to social sites basically using your feeds or anything else.

Can anyone give me the right direction .. My blog is not too bad ... neither are the posts in it ... but how can i get traffic ..

Stumbleupon for me is one of the best tool to increase traffic, I once got stumbled and received tons of traffic. In order to utilize it without spending money, I think you can try stumble exchange usually done in the freebies thread. Just my 2 cents

You can achieve moderate success without spending any money, but if you want to make some money...just like any other business, you will have to spend some.

If it were that easy..everyone would be doing it successfully.

A huge factor is time. The longer you have been up and blogging, the more traffic you will be getting. Trust me, even if you don't do very much work, as long as you do enough to get an initial base to see your blog it will keep growing.

Digg is very powerful if you use it right. Ever heard of the Digg effect?

If you want good traffic you need fresh content on your site everyday, readers will come back and maybe they will bring their friends along to read your great new articles everyday. Happens with me sometimes. :)

Make sure you make it very easy for people to communicate with, and to your blog...my suggestions:

1/.. remove the "no follow". Make it very easy for people to comment. (Keep the admin approval). Plug ins that encourage comments help. Gravatars, Do Follow, (allows a snipet of comenter's blogs along with their comment) etc.

2/ Display the subscribe button where it can be seen immediately, nothing too over bearing, just make sure it is seen.

3/ Along with the "sociable" plug in that allow users to subscribe and bookmark your articles, I also use the feed flare, from feed burner so it appears at the bottom of each post, "Stumble this", Digg this", "email the author", "email to a friend", "share on facebook".

    4/ Offer email subscription options.

5/ Have a Contact page, and an About page. A real one! Even a form plug in would be nice.

6/ Submit your feed to feed directories also.

7/ Write a press release every now and then.

8/ Remove anything that shows that you have no readers. Feed Subscriber buttons, Digg Totals, etc.

9/ Subscribe to newsletters in you niche...you'd be surprised that sometimes you can scoop even the largest of sites and get to the top of SERP's for a few days by being on top of current events in your field.

10/ Offer incentives for signing up by email..what ever you can afford, or do your self..an ebook, iTunes downloads, wall papers, what ever you got.

If you have your content together, and your SEO is solid, every visitor should be a return visitor...Shoot for that!

Sometimes just offering something simple, like a free wall paper download will get more than a few people to put down an email address for your mailing list.

Use what talent you have..If you can design wall papers, then offer that.
I personally have no design talent, so I give away CD's and iTunes downloads when I can....and now that services like MyBlogLog offers the ability to email your whole community, those would be a good place to start:

    My Blog Log
    Blog Catalog
and maybe Spicy Blog...also join Bloggers Showroom, these will at least get you some looks, it's up to you to keep them.

It's easier to keep regular readers, and continue to build, than it is to constantly be searching for new ones..

The first thing that you should do is remove the widget that shows that you have 10 subscribers....no one will re-visit a blog that appears to be dead.

I suggest visiting the sites that i have suggested, and taking another look and Feedburner to see if there any options there that you could use to help promote.

    My Blog Log

    Blog Catalog
    Spicy Blog
Bloggers Showroom (this will give you some opinions from other bloggers on your design and content)

Don't go crazy with the widgets...pick one or two, and for the others, a simple button will be fine. You don't want your blog to look like a waitresses uniform at TGI Friday's. (A bunch of buttons and badges)

Unfortunately, you will have to go through much of it by trial, and error, as no one can truly see the vision that you have for your own blog....it will get better as time goes on, and you start to see what others are doing.

The first thing is to get your content, design, and all options in order so that you will not miss any opportunities to retain readers.
