it is clear that youtube traffic it is ok for Adsense ,there is no reason why it won't be . i also tried youtube,but not getting many traffic from it ,even if some of my videos have over 100k views

 

its not illegal as long as you have original videos and content..im also working on ways to get traffic from youtube. this comes very tricky..
