Getting Traffic from Paid Advertising - Which is the best source?

    Has anyone ever concluded which source brings in the most traffic from your paid advertising and why?

    1) Adwords
    2) Text Links in pages with HIGH PR
    3) Text Links in pages with HIGH TRAFFIC

    According to me it depends not only on which
    type of site you advertise but also on what place
    your ad will have on that page.

    I personally would go for the 3rd option if the link
    of mine is placed on a visible spot, like just under
    the header, or in the menu bar. Any visible place
    will do, especially if you don't have to scroll down
    the page in order to find your own link...
