    My experience has been that Yahoo tends to be geared to the older crowd while the younger ones like Google better. I have noticed this particularly with my real estate sites. For some reason I receive more traffic from Yahoo, but my other sites do better with Google. So in short:

    Old=Yahoo
    New=Google

    This makes sense if you think about it because Yahoo was around first and a lot of people still have their emails with them. People tend to stay with what their comfortable with.

    just because you have a yahoo email does not exactly mean you will use yahoo search, you can buy a Chevy car and still get it fixed at a Ford dealership

    ... maybe your reading too much into this and should make good use of your google traffic

    :)

    You have a nice blog, man - and many followers. Hence good Alexa Ranking. Just forget about the rest. March forward with Google.

    I think it just takes time to get ranked with yahoo, I would carry on building a few backlinks.

    i am also using the same theme but modified for my business blog. Anyways to answer your question, I get traffic from google only. Rarely do i get visits from yahoo. I am not sure of the exact reason. maybe searchers are less.
