Well, first of all I would advice you to find another guestbook. Second, try making a validation code presented in a fuzzy image, that the users would have to present to get the guestbook signing through..

You should probably delete the free one and get a quality guestbook for your site, one that is able to filter out spam.

I'm not sure of where you would find it, but I imagine there are some out there.

guestbooks are a pain because even if you filter out automated spam, People will spam them all the time.

Its a good idea than to just drop the guestbook. Thats what happens with certain free hosting, to deal with their tools.

Get the guestbook that you have to sign in for and then you can maybe block IP's But im not sure on Geocities...
Just do a search for Guestbooks and I think one with a gear(cant remember the name but I can picture it) I heard was a good one...
    Good luck

No not from yahoo guestbook. And I dont know even if you can hire someone who can write a guestbook script to ban IP's and you can load it to your geocities.

Spamming is a big issue. Whether it be with your order forms, to forum posting, blog posting, emails, to your pm's here at DP.

Unless you find another free hosting site that you can atleast have some control over your guestbook. And I have none that come to mind. Sorry. Other than to be vigilant about monitoring your geocities.
