getting to the top!

i have adult blog at http://www.xxxxxxx.com and i am 12th in google. how do i get to the first?

 

Which keyword(s) are you coming at # 12 for ? Is it the name of your site or some other keyword?

If its a very new site, you cannot achieve top positions easily on Google for competitive keywords. Get links, PR etc and wait for the rankings to change

 

For this particular keyword, you should be able to move up relatively easy by adding backlinks.

i don't know the meaning of that word. But try to find backlinks from similar sites as much as possible.

 

Put it in your DP signature with the anchor "Liz Vicious".

 

DP signature will not help you a lot for Google ranks.

 

Try your DP signature, write a couple racy articles and submit them to adult oriented article sites and get listed in the adult oriented directories...

thanks... ive actually moved up to the first page since then! goin up fast baby. now i gotta worrry about yahoo, which somehow seems harder :/

 

One more tip: make a .Blogspot blog to compliment your main site

 

By the look of it you only have a couple of links pointing to your site at the moment, so you could also just buy a couple of cheapish links that are relevant to your site's content and that should move you up the ranks enough to put you in the top 10.

Also build free or paid links with the anchor text "Liz Vicious" on:

directories
topsites
blogs
forum signatures
even link exchanges won't hurt

If you not sure where you can get links just look where the people ranking above you have their links. Just type link:URLofCompetitor into Google to see where their links are coming from.

 

DP sigs might not do much for Google, but they seem to help me in Yahoo.
