Do you personally think that you can get to the #1 rank just by link building every month? If so, how fast do you think it will take to land that #1 spot lets say 100k pages or even 500k pages? Would it take 1 month or 6 months? Just looking to hear your opinions.
link building is not a way to get #1 position...... write unique content as content is king... thanks
It solely depends on the content of the page linked to. If it is not as popular or as good as other similar content. Then, you might not rank that fast on Google's no. 1 search results. Remember that Search Results are ranked based on several factors: Working on only one factor such as link building isn't that effective. Try improving the other factors such as site architecture and domain age.
The competition for that keyword will also play into how quickly you can attain the top position. As said before, link building alone will not guarantee you #1. Look at what the current #1 site is doing in terms of on page factors. Also, see which sites they have inbound links from, etc. If there domain is 10 years older with 100k more links then you know that you have your work cut out for you.
Absolutely... With enough inbound links with "mortgage loans" and slight variations as link text, I can make a page about turtles rank for "mortgage loans". Links and the associated link text are THE most important ranking factor there is... Hell, I could make a blank page rank with enough inbound links (until someone reported me) at which time Google would manually review my site and bury my page in the SERPs artificially. Having unique & compelling content won't guarantee you rankings... enough followed links with the correct link text will. But ranking does you no good if the content of your page is crap when a user finds your URL in the SERPs and click on it. So you want both... Links to rank... Good content to keep the user's interest and hopefully attract more links.
link building is one way to SEO optomozation.... so it can help to get 1 postion but you cannot get that if you do link building only... content is more impoertan.. avoid duplicate content
Your linkbuilding efforts should depend on how competitive your target keywords are. Very competitive keywords require long and dedicated time of linkbuilding. It should also be a continuous process and not only be done in a few months, because competition is tough in Google.
Link building is one way of high page rank, but not the determined factor. High qulity link would do a big help, but if the link is considered as spam, everything will became useless. One sentence is very important: Content is the King. You could have a deep thinking about thie sentence
Content is king if you want users to enjoy your site, find it interesting or useful. Links are king if you want to rank... Content is worthless if people can't find you in the SERPs. Rankings are worthless if visitors don't find what they are looking for when they click on your link in the SERPs. Content and Links are like yin and yang... When they coexist in balance they give the site its best chance of being successful. When you have too much of one or the other, the imbalance that results will likely lead to disappointment (either of the user or the webmaster) and cause the site to be generally unsuccessful.
Backlinks are one of the several factors which are helpful to get a page rank high in Google SERP. If your content is crap there will be no use of backlinks. As canonical said you can rank a page about turtles with enough links with "mortgage loans" as anchor text, but there will be high chance of penalty due to this spamming.
Content is king but if the site doesnt have enough backlinks to it, it still wont show up on the first SERP on Google. It should be more, content is king for tarketing keywords but a king aint a king without his subjects(meaning the backlinks)
PR depends on several factors. You can read about it at places like http://www.webworkshop.net/pagerank.html or Wikipedia You can also pay to get backlinks but I would avoid that because you could get penalized. If you ad new content regularly things will start to happen for your site.
What does PR have to do with what is being discussed here? I was under the impression that we are dealing with ranking here. Adding new content to a site won't make it rank. It will make it get crawled frequently.
It depends on exactly how thorough you are with your anchor text, but link building alone can get you top ten (depending on the competition) although you are going to also need to take care of on page SEO and content to hit the top 1-3
Link building is best way to get backlinks in google. May be its very effective to get good Ranking of keywords.
