    Hey

I am attempting to pick a domain name for my new blog......i have been trying to use google keywords to pick a good volume keyword within my domain name.

my first question is what is a good average monthly view? relatively speaking for trying to target oraganic traffic without attempting to go after the 1,299,292 search words.

second...how many key words do i choose? Should i be more concerned with keywords in my url? or in my content?

    thanks for you help

Ideally you should be targeting 2 - 4 keyword phrases with the homepage of your blog. The type of keyword you go after depends on how much time, resources and seo skill you have. If you think you can rank well for a high volume keyword, then by all means go after it. It is highly recommended to analyze the backlinks of your potential top competitors. This will give you the best idea of whether you can compete or not. Don't pay attention to how many overall search results show up for a keyword, as every site that is not on the first page basically is currently not a competitor to worry about.

    Hey,

my first question is what is a good average monthly view?

This really depends on your niche. There is no number I can give you here. Ideally it should be as high as possible with fairly low competition.

second...how many key words do i choose? Should i be more concerned with keywords in my url? or in my content?

Keywords in your url? I presume you mean http://yourdomainname.com/keyword1.html Yes these keywords are very important and the content on the page is also important. As above try to limit the number of keywords on a page to 4 at the most. You can have unlimited pages based around different keywords. Just make sure they are all related.
