Getting the right ads to display

I'm pretty sure there's a way to do this, but I don't know how.

Okay here's the problem. I'm trying to get the ads for cpa (cost per action) to display. However, as you probably guessed it pulls ads for "certified public accountants", even the term "cost per action" doesn't really pull relavent ads, even if I use cost per action (no cpa keywords) in the meta-tags.

Is there a way to select the ads so only "cost per action" ads displays?

    Thanks

Write more articles on the topic. Use terms like leads, affliate, internet marketing.
And give it some more time for ads to become more relevant.

Thanks for the replies, but it won't matter if there's more articles, the ads appearing on each page is non-related.

And I've already tried using the words "cost per action" instead of cpa in the page title and meta-tags as well as giving the images a "cost per action" name and the alt tags. And I'm using the custom permalinks so the page names are also cost per action related file names.

I need a way to specify the exact ads I want displayed rather than taking what Google decides to display.

    Thanks

It's rather difficult to determine what type of ads you want it to appear. Somehow the only way through this is to create as many content as possible with keyword related to your niche and hope for the best. If there are advertiser which are site targeting, then you just need to block it off using ads review center.

once your URL cached any ads in first then its difficult to change, so create new URL and put adsense at last after finish the page with that keywords, then open it.

ps : i mean sub URL, not main site link ( yoursite.com/change_this_link.htm

You know - doing a straight Google search for "cost per action" also brings up mostly CPA accounting stuff.

but the #1 site is wikepedia with a description:
"Cost Per Action or CPA (sometimes known as Pay Per Action or PPA) is an online advertising pricing model, where the advertiser pays for each specified ..."

maybe try making some content with those keywords - "pay per action", "PPA" etc....

As far as I know (I am no guru) you cannot control what ads are displayed other then whats described in above posts.

They do a good job on my niche sites showing pertinent ads.

Find some ads that you would consider accurate for your site and use their wording throughout your site maybe - the footer will show on every page so i would use that area to start

You can do section targeting to display relevant ads.

Also, you can block irrelevant ads via adsense competitive ad filter and adsense ad review center.

Sometimes, irrelevant ads display because there is not much content on pages. So make sure your site/pages have enough content in them.

i suggest you should have a targeted content on specific niche, include key words and right page tittles to avoid irrelevant ads being dispalyed..

That's the one I meant. Geez...not quite as easy as I hoped it would be, I've got about 2 dozen pages and several dozen more pre-scheduled :(

I guess I'll try a few and see how it goes.

    Thanks
