There's been talk about google taking out anyone involved with the arbitages. Yesterday and today I'm noticing a major increase for a totally click price worthless site I'm running. Is anyone else around here getting positive click prices lately or am I just having a few lucky days?
I don't think CTR has anything to do with this. Nothing changes for me, I run a french website and I've never seen french MFAs
Well, the past few days have certainly been better for me. The previous two weeks had been just awful.
yeah, I'm noticing an increase the last couple of days with traffic and click amounts. not sure what the cause is, but I hope it continues
I noticed increase in my clicks value too. But I filter a lot of sites just before the increase, so it may be because of the filter.
It is very hard to tie a change in your Adsense income with anything Google is doing strategically or not. I don't think any of us are insiders. My income seemingly goes up and down like the wind. No explanation, or reason. So if legit sites are making more because of a change in Google arbitrage policy or algo...which I hope is tru...then I am thrilled. I just don't think we can make this type of conclusion from such little data.
Well tommorow is the 1st June. Lets see after closing the said accounts on the 1st does the income for real content sites increases or not.
I removed all the sites from my ad filter and my CPM has been bouncing around all over the place for the last week or two. There are loads of misleading MFA ads showing on my sites now so I'll give it another week to see if Google really are going to cut them down before I go and clear them up again Cheers BP
lol- the logic used example: i know 1 guy pays Google $80,000 a month doing arbitrage, that's 80k google is not gonna get from him - and others like him. where is the logic?
Depends on how much google is paying out to your friend, and the advertiser. Lots of advertisers dispute clicks, google refunds their money.
