Search google for other sites similar to your niche. Many of them have an area where you can submit your site URL and therefore gain an incoming link. Word is that google is beginning to frown on reciprocal links so don't get into any of that (lots of sites still offer this). Go hard son.....its not hard its just spending the time doing it.

Get submitted to as many relivant directories as possible. Join relivant forums and make some posts with your url in the signature Web-Master
I posted this in another thread a minute ago, but for me the best way to get quality backlinks is to seek out other blogs that cover a topic similar to yours and interact with them. Comment on their posts. Reach out to them with a guest post. Build relationships. Once that's done, you're more likely to get mentioned in one of their posts or placed on their blog roll.
Directories and forums like this. Spend you time efficiently - try to get links from pages with a similar content and relevant link text - matching your keywords, and with higher PR.
But i think different I got the back link from all the above resources like dire , articles, reciprocal, social bookmarking etc. But i think that links from articles and good relevant reciprocal links are best qualitative back links for google point of view. Thanks
And, if you can get those backlinks, it's best if the anchor text uses the keywords you're trying to target in Google SERPs.
