Well, I think that everybody here knows what affiliate marketing is, so I'll get just straight to the point. Days in which you just needed to build an affiliate datafeed-driven website are simply gone - SEs are smarter now and everyday is getting more difficult to have your website correctly indexed and appearing in the SERPS. For this reason, you need something more than a simple website building and development to make money on the long run. What are, in your opinion, the most important points at which a marketer/webmaster should look at to generate a revenue with affiliate marketing? Would you point more on web design, link building, SEO, or what else? I think that having a "simple" website is enough for this kind of business - most of all you need to redirect your clients to the main affiliate's site. By the way, I have still to understand how to be successful in making money with an affiliate program such as CJ. To sell, you must be a leader in the domain and have a good reputation. And that's the hard part. If you can accomplish that, the rest will be easy as cake.
