I currently have multiple customers that I do organic SEO work for - however, I'm getting more into PPC. Whenever I get my first clients for PPC (which will be a while yet) - do I have them open up an account and then I use their account to create/manage ads? Or does Google frown on that since I would be using multiple accounts with someone else's id. Another thing would be them granting me administrative level to access their accounts and edit their campaigns - but is that really the right way? But to a novice who may not be able to know that much more than opening up an adwords account - how do you suggest I go about with brand new clients...as far as getting their accounts opened and getting administrative access?
Go get setup with an MCC account in AdWords... http://adwords.google.com/support/aw/bin/answer.py?answer=22531 Then you can put your client accounts underneath that umbrella account and manage their billing, campaigns, reports, etc. Yes, you can use THEIR credit card info in their own accounts - does not tie into your account spend/billing (which would be a nice feature)
This is at least the third time you've asked this - every time I tell you need an MCC. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1838905 http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1843187 Do you ever read the answers people give you?
