Sorry for posting two threads relatively close together but if I posted it in other thread it would seem offtopic.. Anyway, one of my sites, got indexed by google once and it's been weeks and google hasn't spidered it again. By spidered again I mean changing the information shown when the site comes up in a search. What could I do to make it so that google spiders my site atleast once per day?
<META name="audience" content="all"> <META name="distribution" content="global"> <META name="robots" content="FOLLOW"> <META name="revisit-after" content="10 days"> Insert this tag change the content to 1 or5 days this means spider will visit your site 5 days if you change it for six they will visit after 6 days
Increase the number of quality links pointing to your site! The more links there are, the higher your link popularity, the more often Google will visit you. Forget about the use of META tags to "command" Google and other spiders to visit you. They come when they think it is good for them to come. Jean-Luc
Meta tags do not have the control over the bots.. To encourage frequent bots visit, you must update your webpages regularly and make your page important. Important pages have high PRs. And good quality inbound links are required for high PR
