getting rid of "About Me" colum in Blogspot

    how do i remove the about me column? i deleted the section in the HTML template but ti's still there. i picked a really lousy username and now the Name has that ugly username instead of my real name.

    Hey can you explain how you took out the about me section on your blogspot blog??? I would love to take that off of mine...I already to the Nav bar at the top off so know one clicks on my flag...

    To remove the about me section go into your control panel and click on Template. Scroll through your template until you see any of these codes:

    <$BlogOwnerFirstName$>-Adds your real first name
    <$BlogOwnerLastName$>-Adds your real last name
    <$BlogOwnerEmail$>-Adds your email address
    <$BlogOwnerFullName$>-Adds your real full name
    <$BlogOwnerPhotoUrl$>-Adds your profile photo
    <$BlogOwnerNickname$>-Adds the nickname you registered with
    <$BlogOwnerLocation$>-Adds your location
    <$BlogOwnerAboutMe$>-Adds your about me section
    <$BlogOwnerProfileURL$>-Add all of the above

    Delete these and that will take out that section.
