I own a arcade/flash game website and I am pretty sure it is a really low paying niche if I am correct, what are some maybe higher paying niches?
Mesothelioma pays pretty good, but you'll have to figure the rest out on your own. Go to overture.com and check out the view bids tool, it will give you a pretty good idea what keywords are paying well.
I don't like liers , Listent the @#$ click through rate is based on your traffic not people clicking the ads in Google. So don't BS me telling me you make 10k a month unless its 10 bucks , ie if you work at google you might make more since your the peon running the bots or generating the logs and personally stealling from the advertisers and buying the occasional product to make them think its converting. Murder google in cold blood someone please.
Shouldn't traffic increase as more and more people get on the net worldwide? Or perhaps you were in a niche that is now flooded with publishers?
I'm trying to "earn a living" off Adsense, I don't know if I would say that is rich though. I'm hopefully going to be earning what is considered an average salary 3K/month off Adsense within about 3 - 6 months. That said I have been doing this for quite awhile now, and I think that to a large extent that is part of the "secret" to anything online. Time. There are loads of new people entering the online world and attempting to make websites and a few dollars out of them while they are doing it, but if you have only been making sites for a matter of months rather than years I think you will find that your ability to develop successful and popular sites right off the bat are far less likely than someone who has been doing it for years, and already has established sites which are indexed in Google with high google PR which they can direct to their newer sites and cross promote. I sort of look at it like building a little empire. People don't start their online entrepreneurial career and make it rich within 12 months (well a couple of lucky ones do - and I do mean lucky) you need to build and develop a new site or two every so often and maintain and improve on your already exisiting sites, and slowly but surely you will find that your traffic (the real secret to adsense) will increase over time. If you employ this idea to a number of moderately well paying topics I think you will find that with time your earnings will only go up, but the keyword in that sentance being "time".
This is very risky to plan your future to get rich due to AdSense. These people who make a lot of money out of AdSense and YPN are usually already rich and prosperous and they have plenty of other sources to make money from. It's all relative. No one really want to build an entire business plan around a simple concept of AdSense and YPN. It contains too many fatal flaws that may spoil the future.
