Some features that are important to me: Useful reporting tools SEO friendly Strong support User friendly Easy to manage promotions Multiple shipping options Multiple payment gateways After doing some research I've narrowed down my list to these platforms: Volusion Lead Commerce 3DCart Magento Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Hi, AJ Shopping Cart is the best user & seo friendly shopping cart software with a lot of features to create your store. And it has a wide number of marketing-tailored features that can help you increase your online sales, promote repeat purchases, and boost customer satisfaction.
Thanks for the replies. @orangegirl: CS-Cart seems pretty full-featured and it looks like the payment/shipping provider integration is seamless. What have your customers said about CS-Cart? How is the speed? @cutesathya: good points. Agreed that customer usability is HUGE. @rashida: I just demoed some ecommerce software at leadcommerce.com and 3dcart.com and really liked what I saw but I'll give AJ Shopping Cart a shot. How easy is it to customize and skin?
Thanks Nigel. I don't know too much about opencart, but from what I've read about magento, I'm a little concerned about the loading speed & customization/skinning. Have these not been an issue for you?
Yes, magento is not a ton of fun to deal with if you are not well versed in it for the above reasons. Opencart has a much lower learning curve but comes pretty close to Magento in terms of a free but enterprise level solution. N.
Magento needs a tuned server, and specific adjustments to run smooth. It also needs a lot of tinkering to work properly and every release has a swarm of bugs. Aside from all that it works and works well if you put your due time into it.

Magento is rather good, I agree, but CS-Cart is easier to install, has a better code structure and lot of modules included into standard price (which is one time fee!). That is why I chose it, not Magento.
But i use magento and i love it because its easy access able and also have a great layout, also easy to use and always in peoples budget.. magento is in cheap price..
